The tender age of 17 was when I first began to wrestle with God’s call to ministry. It was that call that led me to college Texas Christian University, seminary (Austin Presbyterian), and to pastorates in Texas and the North Carolina coast. In 2000, God called us to the beautiful forest we call Brevard, and it is my honor to serve as Pastor here. I enjoy hiking, and spending time with my wife, Debbie, and our daughters, Hannah and Hollis, and our dog, Max.
My name is Rebecca Mills. I am honored to serve as the Director for the Weekday Preschool program. I moved to Henderson County seven years ago with my Husband Chris, and our (now) two teenage children, Alexandra and Steven. We previously lived in Charleston, South Carolina. We now live in Etowah and enjoy golfing there as a family.
Along with various years of administrative experience, I have been involved in different areas of Education for twelve years. I have discovered that Early childhood is where my heart is. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to combine both my experience and my faith. It is my goal to promote a environment where we plant the seeds of God’s love in combination with implementing academic readiness.
