Keith Thompson

Pastor

The tender age of 17 was when I first began to wrestle with God’s call to ministry. It was that call that led me to college Texas Christian University, seminary (Austin Presbyterian), and to pastorates in Texas and the North Carolina coast. In 2000, God called us to the beautiful forest we call Brevard, and it is my honor to serve as Pastor here. I enjoy hiking, and spending time with my wife, Debbie, and our daughters, Hannah and Hollis, and our dog, Max.

Sarah Grace Montgomery

Associate Pastor

(ON SABBATICAL THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021)

I began feeling called to Ministry as part of my own experience of faith formation growing up at First Presbyterian Church in Decatur, IL. After graduating from Presbyterian College with a degree in Christian Education in 2005, I served as Director of Christian Education for 12 years at churches in Charlotte, NC. During that time, I felt called to Pastoral Ministry and pursued a degree at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Charlotte. In February of 2018, God called my husband Michael and me, along with our children Margaret and Owen to Brevard. I am passionate about Faith Formation and ministries with Children and Youth, as well as finding ways to serve those in need in the community. I enjoy cooking, yoga, singing out loud to 90’s pop classics and finding ways to make my children giggle.

Pat Crosby

Pat Crosby

Bookkeeper

Hello- I’m Pat Crosby. I serve as the Bookkeeper for the church. I spent many years working in corporate America, where one often questions how what they do is really meaningful. In this calling, I know for sure. I am blessed to witness each day our congregation steward across many domains of living—helping others, working for the church, and yes, their finances. How blessed I am.
