WHEN ARE SUNDAY SERVICES?

We meet for worship at 8:30 am and 11:00 am with a time of fellowship, coffee, and baked goods offered after both services. Sunday School starts at 9:45 am.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

At B-DRPC we acknowledge the importance of children during our weekly worship time and welcome them as an integral part of our church family. Children of all ages are welcome in worship.

We offer a Children’s Message and Prayer as part of our 11:00 am worship service and afterwards the 4-year-olds and older may leave for Children’s Church.

Worship bags are available for each child as they enter the sanctuary.

Nursery Care is provided at the 11 a.m. service for infants through age 4 on Sunday Mornings and for other events.

Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church extends a warm welcome in the name of Christ to all who worship with us.

If you are interested in joining Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church as a member or if you wish to learn about the history, beliefs, ministries, and mission of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian (USA) denomination, you are encouraged to attend the Inquirers’ Class, a class series which meets periodically throughout the year during the Sunday School hour. Speak with the pastor after a service or call the church office at 828-884- 2645.

There are four ways to become a member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church:

1. Profession of Faith – One becomes an active member of the church through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and acceptance of His Lordship in all of life. Baptism and a public profession of faith in Jesus as Lord are the visible signs of entrance into the active membership of the church.

2. Reaffirmation of Faith – It is sometimes the case that persons who previously made a profession of faith and became active members in a particular church are unable to secure a certificate of transfer or other evidence of church membership. After instruction and examination by the church Session, these persons shall reaffirm publicly their profession of faith and their acceptance of responsibility in the life of the church.

3. Transfer of Letter – If you are active in another Christian church, you may join Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church by transfer of certificate. After you join, the church we write to your former church for the letter or other evidence of church membership.

4. Affiliate Membership – An affiliate member is a member of another congregation of this denomination or of another denomination or Christian body, who has temporarily moved from the community where their home church is located. An affiliate member may participate in the life of the congregation in the same manner as an active member except that an affiliate member may not vote in congregational meetings or be elected to ordered ministry or other office in the congregation.

• Sign the guest pad located in the church pews, and express your wish to join. Be sure to leave a phone number where you can be reached so the pastor can reach out to you.
• You may also speak with the pastor about your desire to join Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church after any worship service.
